[Construction Case 8] Nursery School Floor Heating (Geothermal Heat Pump Heat Source, Hot Water Type)

A case of renovation to hot water floor heating using a geothermal heat pump (HP)! Achieved a surface temperature of 28°C!

We would like to introduce a case study of floor heating installation at a nursery in Kariwa Village, Niigata Prefecture. Initially, it utilized electric storage floor heating powered by nighttime electricity, but in response to changes in energy policy, it was renovated to a hot water floor heating system using a geothermal heat pump (HP) with a high coefficient of performance (COP). To maximize the high COP characteristic of the HP heat source, the outlet water temperature was set relatively low at around 45°C. [Construction Example 10] Renovation of a Traditional House - Underfloor Heating (Hot Water Type, Embedded Method)

While preserving the charm of the good old days, we also achieve comfort! We propose floor heating combined with kerosene boiler heat sources.

We would like to introduce a case study of underfloor heating (water-based, embedded method). During a large-scale renovation of a traditional Japanese house, we received a request to maintain its old charm while also achieving comfort. We proposed underfloor heating by embedding cross-linked polyethylene pipes in the concrete floor and combining them with an oil boiler as the heat source. "@YukadanP-Lus" is an eco-friendly and warm heat pump underfloor heating system. It operates the heat pump to heat the thermal storage material while also warming the floor surface, and it utilizes the sunlight that enters during the day for the underfloor heating system. In the case of thermal storage underfloor heating, the unit is thicker to ensure heat retention, and in renovations, it was necessary to remove the floor and perform base work.
